Respectful Maternity Care (RMC) is a core principle of quality maternal healthcare that ensures women are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion during childbirth. However, inadequate knowledge and negative attitudes among healthcare providers can hinder the delivery of respectful care, impacting maternal and neonatal outcomes. Nurses, as primary caregivers in maternity settings, have a critical role in fostering RMC. Enhancing their knowledge and attitudes through focused educational programs is essential to improving the quality of care.
