Abstract

Fermat’s Last Theorem one of the most Famous and long-standing problems in the history of mathematics has captivated mathematicians and enthusiasts for centuries. The Theorem proposed by Pierre de Fermat in 17th Centuary, remained unproven. Pierre de Fermat’s prososed this theorem in the 17th Centuary.

Fermat’s Last Theorem asserts that the equation

                                                                        xn+yn = zn

Where n is an integer greater than 2, has no integral solutions except the trivial solutions in which one of the variable is zero.

It was finally resoved by Andrew Wiles in 1994. This delves into the history, significance and the mathematical journey that led to the proof of Fermat’s Last Theorem.
