Application of Goal Programming (G.P.) for Resource Allocation in Hospitals

Abstract

The present paper provides an investigation on resource allocation problem in Hospital using goal programming. Here we have described a set of models to study this problem and discussed their application to a decision-making scenario in which surgical components of Hospitals must respond to a planned three year, 18% reduction in hospital funding. In this analysis we have taken the data of P.M.C.H., N.M.C.H. and Kurji Holy family hospital in Patna (for our convenience)
